Herman Rutherford Sr.

Herman Rutherford Sr., affectionately called Lewis, was born in Americus, Georgia on December 19, 1957, and was one of ten children of the late Mr. Homer William Rutherford, Sr. and Mrs. Elma Brown Rutherford; and, brother of the late Vet. Alphonso Rutherford. He received his education in the Sumter County Public Schools.

He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at South Georgia Technical College, earning his associates degree, and Walden University, earning his bachelors and masters degrees, respectively. He loved spending time with his beloved wife, Mrs. Brenda Rutherford, watching football, spending time with his church family and loved ones.

Herman was a faithful employee of Proctor and Gamble, M&M Mars, and Habitat for Humanity. He was also a devoted and focused employee of Apple, Inc. and performed his duties with integrity, dignity, respect for
others, and pride.
