Mrs. Nancy Marie Angrish Whitehead of 101 Lillie Lane, Americus, Georgia died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 3:30 P. M. in the sanctuary of the Allen Chapel A. M. E. Church in Americus, Georgia. The burial will follow Staley Memorial Garden in Americus, Georgia.
Mrs. Nancy Marie Angrish Whitehead was born November 9, 1961 in Sumter County, Georgia. She was born to Mr. Ralph C. Williams and Mrs. Ozzie B. Tyner Angrish.
Nancy was educated in the public schools system and was a graduate of Americus High School. Early in her life she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and united with the Allen Chapel A. M. E. Church in Americus, Georgia.
When not spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, she loved playing BINGO. She also enjoyed cooking for her loved ones.
On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, she transitioned from this life to life eternal while a patient at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Along with her parents, she is preceded in by her siblings, Mrs. Joan Baker, Mr. Sammy L. Angrish, Mr. Charlie T. Angrish, and Mr. Willie J. Angrish.
Reflecting upon her life with love, she leaves her loving and devoted husband, Mr. MacArthur Whitehead of Americus, Georgia, her loving and devoted children, Mr. Emanuel King, Jr. and Mr. Timothy T. Angrish both of Americus, Georgia, Ms. Schree S. Whitehead of Macon, Georgia, Ms. Schatney R. Whitehead of Americus, Georgia, and Mr. Arthur Whitehead of St. Petersburg, Florida; her beloved grandchildren, Mr. Demarco King, Miss Aleriyah Angrish, Miss Daeshia Whitehead, Mr. Quan Lawrence Angrish, Miss Alesha Covin, Miss Aaliyah Covin, and Miss Moosia Mae King; a loving sister, Ms. Geneva Angrish of Warner Robins, Georgia; her beloved brothers, Reverend Robert Angrish, Sr. and his wife, Mrs. Marsha Angrish, Mr. Gary Angrish and his wife, Mrs. Mary Angrish, Mr. Thomas Angrish and his wife, Mrs. Sharon Angrish, and Mr. Chris Denmark all of Americus, Georgia; her aunts and uncles, Mrs. Ella Tyner, Mrs. Carolina Bateman, Mrs. Bertha Tyner, and Mrs. Viola Tyner all of Americus, Georgia; her brothers/sisters-in-law, Mr. Charlie Whitehead and his wife, Mrs. Heavenly Whitehead of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Tony Whitehead and his wife, Mrs. Denise Whitehead of Maryland, Mr. Ronald Whitehead of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs. Marise Fletcher of Pennsylvania; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include Ms. Gloria Johnson, Kim, Ms. Joyce Mitchell, and Mrs. Jeneen Solomon Jackson.
