Deacon Willie Green Cutts of 272 Fish Road, Desoto, Georgia died Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3:00 P. M. in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Cobb, Georgia.

Mr. Willie Green Cutts departed this life on April 5, 2019 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA
Willie was born on June 6, 1933 in Lee County, Georgia, where he was a farmer for over 60 years of his adult. In addition to farming, Willie was a small business owner and operator of what was known and loved by many as “Cutts Restaurant”. He was blessed to serve for more than 40 years on the Sumter Electric Board of Directors in Americus, GA. Willie was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Desoto, GA., where he served as a faithful member for most of his Christian life.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Cutts Sr. and Izora Timmons Sams; (2) sons: Willie Cutts and Chris Donaldson; (4) sisters: Clara Sneed, Katie Scott, Isabella Wright and Ruby Mack; (1) brother, Charlie Cutts Jr.

Willie is survived by his devoted wife, Martha Fish Cutts of Cobb, GA, (4) sons: Winfred Cutts (Glynis) of Atlanta, GA, Dexter Cutts (Latoya) of Leesburg, GA, Connelton Davis of Lagrange, GA, Rodney Daniels (Kristy) of Tifton, GA; (5) daughters: Bernice Brown (George) of Leesburg, GA, Clara Terry (Tommie) of Albany, GA, Mary Frances Graham of Newtonville, NJ, Queenester Covington (Thomas) of Atlanta, GA, Sharon Young of Columbus, GA; a devoted stepson, John Fish (Erma); a devoted niece, Carolyn Hamilton (Rick); (33) grandchildren, (48) great grandchildren; (2) great-great grandchildren; (4) brothers: Douglas Cutts of Smithville, GA, Clifford (JW) Cutts of Smithville, GA, Johnny Cutts (Gloria) of Albany, GA, Calvin Cutts of Smithville, GA; (7) sisters: Mary French of Smithville, GA, Vera Rivers of Smithville, GA, Rosa Godbee (Willie) of Miami, FL, Marion Sams and Tina Jones (Coley) both of Jacksonville, FL, Elizabeth Cutts of Albany, GA, Evelyn Iverson (Rev. Jerry Iverson) of Montgomery, AL; sisters-in law: Mary Hall of Cordele, GA, Addie B. Cutts of Desoto, GA, Corine Fish of Delair, NJ; brothers-in-law: Walker Wright of Miami, FL, Solomon Mack, Sr. of Boynton Beach, FL; an aunt, Carrie L.
