Americus-Sumter High School recently celebrated National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Americus-Sumter High School recently celebrated National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by recognizing Sgt. Stephanie Floyd with an informal ceremony in the school lobby. Sgt. Floyd received a gift bag and thanked all in attendance for honoring her with the award. The award was given by Principal Kimothy Hadley, assisted by Assistant Principal Todd Vickery. Several faculty and staff members were also present. After the photo was taken, Floyd said: “I want to thank the administration and staff for allowing me to be a part of the ASHS family. I appreciate the opportunity to be a resource for the students in Sumter County Schools.”
