Delores Hamilton Brown

Delores Hamilton Brown was born July 12, 1951, in Americus, Georgia to Mr. Joseph Hampton, who survives and the late Mrs. Mattie Pearl Bryant. She was educated in the public schools of Americus, graduating in the A. S. Staley High School Class of 1969. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from Walmart after many years.

She is preceded in death by a grandmother, Ms. Mattie Ruth Daniels and a brother, Mr. Curtis Hamilton.

In addition to her father, Delores is survived by two sons: Mr. Dallas Alex (Donna Lynn) Brown, Americus, GA and Mr. Eric (Anitra) Brown, Leesburg, GA; two daughters: Mrs. Sonya (Darrin) Greene and Ms. Shakeila Smith, all of Americus, GA; two brothers: Mr. Rick (Carolyn) Hamilton and Mr. Rodney Hampton, all of Americus, GA; her sisters: Ms. Sarah Slappey, Americus, GA; Mrs. Lillian (James) Coleman, Albany, GA; Ms. Maria Black, Mrs. Deborah (Gerald) Johnson, Ms. Tracy Hampton, Ms. Anita Crew, all of Americus, GA and Mrs. Stephanie (Daryl) Turner, Jacksonville, FL; two godchildren: Khloe and Aalaysa. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.
